Task Bar Cube

Privacy policy

This page explains what Task Bar Cube Guide stores, and what third parties can see when you visit.

What this site collects

The site is a set of static pages. There is no account system, no comment form and no newsletter, so there is nothing to sign up for and no profile stored about you on our side.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (GA4) to count page views, referring sites and which guides get read most. It records the page you requested, a coarse region derived from your IP address, your browser and your device type. It is not used to build an advertising profile of you, and no data is sold — there is nothing to sell.

Advertising

Pages carry advertising served by Adsterra, a third-party ad network. Those adverts may set their own cookies or similar identifiers (including device identifiers) as part of serving an ad, and those identifiers are set by the network rather than by this site. We do not pass an ad network your email, your name or anything you have told us, because we never collect it in the first place.

Two things worth knowing about how the ad slot behaves here:

  • Desktop pages load the network's native banner script, which renders inside a bordered slot on the page.
  • Phones and tablets do not load that script. Instead they get a fixed 320×50 banner rendered inside a sandboxed iframe, which is a separate document with its own restricted permissions.

An ad blocker stops both paths entirely, and the page remains fully readable — nothing on this site is gated behind an advert. You can also limit ad personalisation through your browser or device settings, or through the ad network's own opt-out tools.

Email

If you email a correction, the message is kept for as long as it takes to verify and fix the page. Addresses are not added to any list and are not shared.

The site links to Steam, the developer's store pages and other resources. Those destinations have their own privacy practices; this policy stops at the edge of this domain.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date in the site footer moves with it. There is no mailing list to notify, so that footer date is the only notice we can give.
