About this guide
Task Bar Cube Guide is an independent fan site. It is not affiliated with DarkRook Interactive, the developer and publisher of Task Bar Cube, and it is not an official wiki.
How pages are written
Every claim on this site is traceable to one of three places: the Steam store listing for appid 5084200 (including the developer's published chest drop rates and the DLC pricing), the game's own interface as captured in the ten official store screenshots, or Steam's own platform rules where the behaviour belongs to Valve rather than to the game.
The screenshots are read rather than guessed at. Panels are transcribed (the Rarity Upgrade requirements, the chest rates, the Cube Upgrade node descriptions, the talent-tree instructions) so that a page can quote a mechanic in the game's own words instead of paraphrasing a video. Where a panel shows a live player's numbers — a level, a DPS figure, a bonus percentage — the number is treated as an example from that save, not as a rule of the game.
What this site will not do
- It will not invent numbers. If the game does not show a figure, there is no figure on the page.
- It will not invent a roster. Five classes are documented by the developer; the individual heroes and pets visible in official screenshots are named as examples, never as a complete list.
- It will not publish a tier list. The game ranks nothing except its weekly Online Ranking, and that ranking is a leaderboard of players, not a ranking of classes.
- It will not pad pages with codes. Task Bar Cube has no code system. There is no codes page here, and any site offering codes for it is making them up.
- It will not blur two games together. "Task bar cube" gets autocorrected in search to a different Steam game made by a different developer. This site covers Task Bar Cube only, and says so where the confusion is likely.
Corrections
If a page is wrong, the fix matters more than the argument. Balance changes, patches and additions move these systems, and anything reproducible gets corrected with the page's verification date bumped.
Send corrections through the contact page. A screenshot of the panel in your build is worth more than a description of it.
Who runs it
One person, working from official material. The site carries advertising to cover hosting and is funded by nothing else — no sponsored placements, no paid links, no affiliate deals.
Technical
The site is a set of static pages with no account system, no comment form and no newsletter. What little it measures is described on the privacy page.
